Accident near Lornie Road exit causes three-hour jam

SINGAPORE : An accident just before the Lornie Road exit on the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Changi Airport caused a massive three-hour jam that tailed back all the way to Jurong on Tuesday morning.

Police said a 50-year-old man skidded on his motorcycle at 7.20am, and he died from his injuries.

The accident involved another motorcycle and two cars, and blocked three lanes initially.
