Flowing Streams by Stuart Briscoe
This is the latest offering from Stuart Briscoe. This is also the first time i read something from him. An amazing folk. Born in UK, later went over the atlantic to preach in US. His style is well... old schooled exposition, yet his church make leap and bounds much like the saddlebacks and willow creeks. Almost all the whose-whos of christian world got mentioned in this autobiography: from JI Packer to John Stott to Billy Graham. It is inspiring to read the life of this man and his family. There are just too many snippets to learn in this easy to read book. Issues such as church governance, leadership and problem solving are all mentioned in this book. The book ended with 5 key lessons that he learned in life, so it is worth going through those stuff: eg. giving room for people to fall and learn (especially for youths). That is so gracious of him to remind us of the difficult journey everyone has to go through.
