Through the Bible, Through the Year by John Stott
I received this as a gift from my brother during my baptism service. A fitting one indeed. If there is anything i can say about 2008 is that i fall in love with Stott's writings. It is accessible but deep. He writes plainly. Well, this devotion does not pack as much punch as some would hope for. But to skim through the pages of this devotion is much drinking in the essence of all Stott's writings. No new insights if you have read all the BST commentaries written by him. However, if you want bite-size knowledge for chewing through the day, this is it! i love the binding and the quality of the pages here. A perfect present for any occasion.
